This got me thinking of a little Parisian wish list...
This locket, i have been lusting over for quite a few months. At £140 it is not cheap, but it comes in both silver and 18 carat rose gold and can be engraved with a choice of four very romantic texts. Or you could, if you were feeling all poetic and gooey, have your own words engraved on there. Something to cherish forever.

This light-weight trench would look lovely with everything. It is laid-back and casual without looking slobby, despite its over-sized style.

Oh how i would love to roam about Paris in these beauties...I saw them on the feet of the PR manager for Whistles Boutique when i picked up the March issue of Elle magazine and fell in love...

I have been looking for a new signature scent for a while now...So far, over the years, my favourites have been 'Stella' by Stella McCartney, 'Gucci' by Gucci and Dior 'Midnight Poison' (Although after my tutor asked if someone had just applied vics moments after i scooshed my perfume, i may give 'Midnight Poison' a wide berth from now on!)
At the airport on the way home from Rome, i discovered Dior's 'Forever and Ever'. I have had Dior 'Cherie' before, and found it much too sickly, but this really settled well on me, and i was smelling my wrist the whole way home.

Finally, i have been searching for the perfect battered old suitcase for a while now and while i'm sure a pull-along is a hundred times more sensible and easier to lug around, i still hold onto this romantic vision of arriving in a new country, clutching a suitcase just like this one. Now that i think about it, i may have watched the scene in 'New York, New York' where Liza arrives in the big apple with her little suitcase a few too many times as a child....
Top-Bottom: Edwardian locket with engraved script (http://www.lauraleejewellery.com), Chambray trench by Eryn Brinie (http://www.pixiemarket.com/store/), Striped wedge boots (Chanel), Dior 'Forever and Ever' perfume, and a lovely vintage suitcase.
