Squid, anyone?

I love Dominic Jones. His jewelery, that is.
Last year i was entranced by his black gloves adorned with golden nails, and the gold 'thorn' earings, and the vampire teeth rings. It is nice to come across understated yet powerful jewelery, created in beautiful rose gold, platinum and silver. The pictures of Alice Delal and co modeling the jewelery, looking just a little bit kick-ass made me yearn for the stuff even more. I oohed and ahhed over the collection for months, i think i actually dreamt about it a few times.
But then Dominic decided he would like to explore the theme of The Circle of Life...wearable taxidermy...to put it bluntly, slimy dead things.
Safe to say, you wont be seeing these in Harvey Nick's any time soon.
Now, i doubt that i would go as far as to walk around with some gooey fish-heads swinging around my neck in the name of fashion, but these photographs are brilliant! The tentacles one is my favourite. It makes me want to pick up my pen and draw...Wouldn't that make a great t-shirt illustration?
